Dance Summer Camp: June 22- 26, 2020
We regret to inform you that GSA Dance Summer Camp has been cancelled.
We hope you are well and safe and making the best of “sheltering at home.” In these unprecedented times, all of us are making adjustments to try and limit the spread of COVID-19. Virginia Schools are closed until the end of the year and we are all acutely aware of the need to protect our personal safety.
This decision has not been made lightly, but the safety of our students, faculty and parents is our utmost concern.
Please contact Kristen at kristen.outlaw-hartman@gsarts.net to receive your refund. Please indicate which camp you had paid for and the name of your child. We are unable to refund online processing fees. Please let us know by June 5, 2020
Thank you for your interest in GSA Dance Summer Camp. We hope to see you at our live performances next school year and also to work with you in the Summer of 2021!

Lauren Sinclair is a graduate of the Kirov Academy of Ballet and Old Dominion University. She danced professionally for 10 years and has been teaching dance in the Hampton Roads region for 15 years, including at GSA since 2012. She is also certified in Yoga and Pilates Mat. Lauren loves creating a supportive environment for her students so they can learn and grow to their maximum potential without a fear of failure. Lauren is currently on faculty in the Dance and Musical Theatre departments of The Governor's School for the Arts.

Janelle Spruill is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College where she earned her B.F.A in dance and a minor in media studies. She is currently working on her graduate degree at Goucher College for arts administration. She has performed, taught and choreographed professionally across the U.S. for numerous companies, universities and dance festivals. As a graduate of the GSA Dance Department, Janelle is excited to continue working with a community that nurtures and develops young artists.

Felecia Baker graduated from The Governor's School for the Arts in 2011 and is currently dancing with Ballet Memphis. She danced with Charlottesville Ballet and was a trainee with Richmond Ballet. Along with dancing professionally, she has a passion for teaching group fitness classes. With four group fitness certifications under her belt, she is excited to start the Gyrotonics certification and hopes to own her own Gyrotonics studio.
