The Governor's School for the Arts
is pleased to host the
11th Regional High School Dance Festival
Welcome to the Regional High School Dance Festival, a program of the National High School Dance Festival. Join over 1,000 high school dancers and their teachers for a wonderful weekend of performances, workshops, lectures and sharing. College/University and Summer Program recruiters host an informational fair and students have the opportunity to audition for scholarships and acceptance into programs.
The Regional Festival takes place every two years, off set from the National Festival.
Students from high schools which host a dance program are invited to attend. The weekend includes a performance from a professional dance company, guest teachers, lectures, and special events. Schools must register for the event and pay all applicable fees.
Recruiters and Faculty from colleges, universities, and summer programs are also invited to attend. There is a college fair at which programs may exhibit information, speak with students & teachers, and offer scholarships.
Registration will be accepted on a first come, first paid basis. Each participating high school may bring up to 25 high school age students who are currently enrolled in the high school they are representing.
Please note: No refunds will be given after January 25, 2015
